George J. Feldman, Jr., of Uniontown, Ohio passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at the age of 93. Born on November 24, 1928, to the late George J. and Clara (Mark) Feldman in Buffalo, NY. George was also predeceased by his first wife, Mary Ellen (Cronin), his brothers, Charles R. (Florence) and William J. (Virginia).
A loving husband to Sandy (Heminger) of Uniontown, Ohio where the two enjoyed their retirement at the Gables of Green.
George had great pride in his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. A loving and dedicated father to Paul (Jeaneen), the late Mark (Patty), the late Peter (Carolyn), John
(Musetta), James and Chris (Kevin). A devoted grandfather to Mark Chontae), Elizabeth (Rob), Mary Leigh, Cody, Jenna, John, Sean, Emily and the late Benjamin. A great- grandfather to Julia, Carly, Gabriel, Felix and Niles.
George was proud to have served his country in the United States Army, a veteran of World War II and was a member of American Legion Post #0888. He spent over 50 years as a financial advisor in the Akron, Ohio area and was a member of the Akron Ohio Regional Development Board, Financial Service Professionals and the International Association of
Registered Financial Consultants.
George was devout in his Roman Catholic faith and has a long history of Feldman’s supporting St. Louis Roman Catholic Church in Buffalo. His grandfather, the late Charles L. Feldman, was a prominent attorney who did pro-bono work for the church and ran for
mayor of Buffalo in 1905.
George couldn’t resist a trip to the casino when visiting his hometown of Buffalo and spending time with his beloved in-laws, John and Peggy Cronin. He loved to fish and play golf and to watch the Buffalo Bills and the Cleveland Indians, but his most enjoyable
moments were spent with his family. Some of his favorite vacations were with his family at the annual “FeldFest” where a walk on the beach with Sandy and an evening of poker made for a perfect day.
