Dear Dick & Lorie,
I was shocked and deeply saddened beyond words when I learned of the death of your beloved son Christopher. The death of a child is an unbearable loss and you have had to experience his passing during the Christmas season, which adds to your grief.
It was a privilege to have known Christopher from his youngest days and I embrace your family with love and prayer at this very difficult time.
I note that no services are scheduled, but if anything is planned for the future, please let me know. In any event, I will celebrate a Mass next week for the repose of his soul.
Chris was a delight and I will miss him. May he rest in peace.
