It was always a pleasure at the family picnics to see and talk to MaryAnn. She was someone you wanted to talk to all day. She was interesting, observant and enjoyed sharing her experiences. I remember how brave she was when I visited her while she was recuperating at the rehab center following shoulder surgery. The world has been a better place as a result of her.
