Obituary of Kenneth R. Van Remmen

Of West Seneca, passed away on March 23, 2020, beloved husband of the late Geraldine (Cudney) Van Remmen; dear father of Kathleen (Michael) Browne, Karen (Joseph) Cartonia, Kenneth (Paula) Van Remmen and Colleen (Thomas) Schappert; loving grandfather of ten and great-grandfather of seven. Private services were held at the request of the family. Due to the current health concerns, a Celebration of Ken’s Life will be announced at a later date. Mr. Van Remmen is a Marine Corps veteran and served during the Korean War. He worked 40 years for the Peace Bridge Authority as a Toll Collector, where he organized the union for the employees and was a long time Union Representative and also was a democratic committeeman in the Town of West Seneca for over 30 years.
