Obituary of Joanne Currey

 Entered into rest on May 13, 2019. Beloved wife of Jim Currey; devoted mother of James (Kristine), Ashley and Matthew Currey; cherished grandmother of Sophia Jo Currey; loving daughter of the late Thomas and Pat (McGowan) Hunter; dear sister of Kathleen (Drew) Hunter-Steck, Alison Hunter and the late Susan Hunter Tocci; aunt of Jason and Brielle. Relatives and friends may call Friday from 3-7 PM at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME, INC. (Southtowns Chapel), 3155 Orchard Park Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 1 PM at St. John Vianney Church (please assemble at Church). Joanne worked at the Eggert Elementary School for the past 15 years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Joanne Currey Memorial Scholarship
