My deepest and most heartfelt condolences go out to the whole McNichol Family and everyone that Jim touched in his life.
I knew Jim at BSP, and he was a very standup guy, and always one to be friendly and smile, and say "hello" even if he was in a hurry to be somewhere in the plant.
May the memories of Jim be ever present in everyone's hearts and minds, as that is how we live forever, after passing from this life.
Rest In Heaven Jim, and may your smile continue to shine from the heavens above.
Ken Downey

Judy, our deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. The news of his passing was an extreme shock to us. Even though I have not seen Jim in many years, he was always on my mind and hoped that he was doing OK. Jim was a very important part of our family growing up and was a 3rd son to my parents and a 2nd brother to me. Our family trip to Myrtle Beach with Jim was a favorite story told by my father many times. I remember a lot of time spent at the McNichol house hold getting to know his sisters and having a 2nd set of parents in Janet and Breen. Having Jim in my wedding was a great honor and having him in my life will never be forgotten. Our deepest thoughts are with you.

Judy, Meghan, Colby, Travis, Owen, and Dylan. I am absolutely heartbroken and cannot imagine what you are all going through. Jim was an incredible friend to our family and was a significant part of my childhood. Growing up and taking trips to amusement parks, camping, or the birthday parties that felt like they happened every weekend, I cherish those memories like nothing else and Jim was a big reason why. An amazing person, a great friend, and an even better husband and father. I will miss him dearly and all he had to offer. I apologize that I cannot be there for all of you these coming days but he has not and will not leave my thoughts and prayers. As with all of you, I will be praying that you stay strong through this tragedy. I consider your family as close to being my own as anyone else and no matter what I will be here for you regardless of how far I am from you or how long it has been since I saw you last. I love you all and with this I send my deepest sympathy.

I don’t think words can express the emptiness the this news brought. I have known Jimmy since his birth and our families lived next door for over 50 years. So many memories of Jim and my brother’s shenanigans through the years and I can still close my eyes and hear him laughing. Sons and daughter rest in the fact your father loved and lived for you and you will carry him forward in your lives. I’m sorry distance prevents me from being there at this time. Janet and Breen you raised a good man who now enjoys the gift of eternal life though much to our own personal loss. Judy see him every day through your wonderful family and all the memories you created together. I will see you again Jimmy.
