GALLIVAN, David M. Rev. Msgr., passed away on January 9, 2025, beloved son of the late Raymond and Catherine (Herlihy) Gallivan, dearest brother of Donald (Sheila) Gallivan, Kathryn (James) Kelley, Kevin (Ginna) Gallivan, the late Paul (Alice) Gallivan, late Robert (Nan) Gallivan, late Richard (Sally) Gallivan and the late Mary Lou (late Robert) Dietrich, also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends on Monday January 13th from 3-7:00 pm at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME, INC. 3155 Orchard Park Road in Orchard Park, (716) 675-9027. There will be a visitation hour on Tuesday January 14th at the Holy Cross Church, 345 Seventh Street, Buffalo,NY from 8:45 am - 9:45 am and a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00AM (please gather at the Church). ****In lieu of flowers, please donate in honor of Msgr. Gallivan at: www.thelastshallbefirstscholarships.org, helping poor students in Peru' attend technical school. Msgr. Gallivan was the pastor at Holy Cross Church and formerly at St. Bridget’s, St. Peter and Paul Churches, also from 1975-79 was the Director of the Secretariat of the American Affairs of the National Conference of Catholic Bishops in Washington, DC.
