Loving husband of 54 years of Ellen (Hoffstetter), adored father of Sheila (Joe Jansen), Bob (Jackie) and Terry (Christen) Keane. Cherished papa of Kaylah (Bryan Binaxas)and Anna Maze; Jack and Maura Keane and Emma Bertram. Son of the late Richard and Catherine Keane; and son in law of the late Gertrude Hoffstetter. Brother of Sally (late Jim) Trevean, Michael (Marie), Catherine, Danny (Betty), Mickey (late Billy) Ray, Peter, Maureen (Mike) Sullivan and the late Nancy Lafferty, Dick (late Mary), Mary Alice (late Joe) O’Neil, Billy (late Nancy), Tom (Marion), Connie Smith, Jimmy (Margaret) and Joseph Keane. Brother-in-law of Joe (Sharon), Ollie (Peggy), Jack (Kathy), Paul (Carol) and the late James Hoffstetter. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 9:15 a.m., at Our Lady of Victory Basilica. Please assemble at church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Bishop Timon-St. Jude High School. Mr. Keane worked for the Buffalo Fire Department for 39 years and retired as the Commissioner. He was a member of Buffalo Professional Firefighters Assoc. Local 282, Ancient Order of Hibernians, East Coast Retired Firefighters Assoc. and a member of the Glades Country Club in Naples, FL.
