Mark was such a positive presence at the ECHC. He was

Dear Mark,
I wanted to admit something to you for years, but I was waiting until we were old and you were too tired and rickety to get revenge. I guess now is the time, since you have managed to pull off the ultimate Irish exit on us.
It was me who newspapered and duct taped your entire truck 22 years ago that you left overnight in front of Doctors pizza. Also, the plastic pumpkin I tied under your bumper that dropped down days later, dragging behind your truck like just married cans. Sorry not sorry. It's the hardest I've ever laughed in my life when you were telling me how when you find out who did this, you will prank them till the end of time. Well bring it on buddy. I welcome the haunting from you. I'll miss your endless giggles and bear hugs till my last day here. Rest easy my dear friend and protector. You were the definition of a best friend to ALL of your friends, which were so so many.

Mark, like his parents and siblings, was just such a friendly person who would never just say hello and keep going. I will always remember that Mark would stop and start a conversation and ask a question about me, my family or one of my buddies. A true gentleman who cared deeply about anyone he knew. It was a pleasure to know him and even better to be a friend. I’m so glad I got see Mark recently and meet his wife. Prayers to all who knew and loved Mark.
