I met Sandy at Sibley, where we were student nurses together and she was right across the hall from me in our dorm. Sandy was so caring, thoughtful and a good friend. We had some fun times during our times there.
I last saw Sandy (and Dave) at our 50th reunion, and had such a nice time at out dinner all together.
She had a lovely family that she was very proud of and that she loved so much and I know she was a loving and nurturing mom, wife and grandma.
She will be missed.❤️ Carol Fort Williams

I remember the wonderful family get togethers at the Sippel home on the lake in Angola. First Gen and Doc, then David and Sandy hosted. Your family has truly been blessed with sharing, caring people. My condolences. Kate Carroll

Please accept my most sincere sympathy in the recent loss of your mother. Sandy will be long remembered by many. She had a rare warmth of personality and beauty of character that left a lasting impression upon all who met her. As Sandy would say, " I love you from afar." A Sibley nursing friend of sixty-four years.

Sandy will be greatly missed. We have been friends since we were young kids. One of the best people I have ever known. She was like a sister to me. She was a gracious hostess always entertaining people in her home. She and Dave will not be forgotten.

On the morning, Sandy passed to Eternal Life, I got in my car and the song: All your promises are true! came on from the recorded music I keep.
Sandy loved this song and we used it retreats held at her home! Her faith and confidence in LOVE continues as she rests in the LOVE with David... I'm sure she is smiling on us!

Q: What will you never forget about Sandra?
A: I don't know how Sandy found out I was a songwriter. About 10 years ago Sandy shared with me a goofy rendition of the serenity prayer and said to me "Donna, you need to turn this into a song". My 1st reaction that I said to myself "absolutely, no way!" That night I woke up at 3:00 am and I knew I had to get out of bed to write the song. I had a demo made of the song and a month later it was picked up and recorded by a young artist. I shared this with Sandy, thanking her for being instrumental in pushing me to start writing again resulting in a promising career as a Songwriter. This month I'm going to Nashville where I've been nominated for 4 songwriting awards, including Songwriter of the Year. None of this would have happened without Sandy being prompt by the Holy Spirit to get me to write that song called "Try". "...because you love me as I am, I have the courage to try". Thank you Sandy. I will always be filled with love and gratitude for you!
