Obituary of James N. Kittner

Please share a memory of James to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on September 19 at the age of 73. Jim is survived by his devoted wife, Kathy Kittner, his children Josh (Cris), Colby, Kylie, and Callan, and his cherished grandchildren, Chloë and Lucas. He was a loving brother to Duke (Linda) and a proud uncle to many nieces and nephews. Jim was also a dear friend to the Walker Family of Corning, NY, Tom and Marietta O'Malley, and many others who had the privilege of knowing him. Friends and family may call Sunday from 2-6:00pm at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3155 Orchard Park Road in Orchard Park (716)675-9027. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11:00am at the Immaculate Conception Church, 520 Oakwood Ave. in East Aurora, NY (please assemble at church). In his spare time, Jim found joy in nature, dedicating himself to designing beautiful gardens and landscaping. He was the guardian to many beloved pets, and his home was filled with the love and care he extended to them. Jim had a lifelong passion for baseball and softball. He found fulfillment in playing, coaching, umpiring, and maintaining the fields. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation or participating in a fundraiser with a Western New York youth baseball organization in Jim's honor, as a tribute to his love for the sport and dedication to future generations of players. Jim’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and his presence will be deeply missed by family, friends, and the communities he touched.
