Obituary of Michael J. Colmerauer

Beloved husband of Karen (Kaiser) Colmerauer, dear father of Catherine (Daniel) Shick, loving papa of Lily and Allie, son of the late Frederick and Angeline (Sabato) Colmerauer, brother of Susan (John) Polvino, Matthew (Nicole) Colmerauer and the late Mark (Joanne) Colmerauer, son in law of Frances (late William) Kaiser, brother in law of Carolyn (Charles “CJ”) McDonnell, Bill (Kathryn) Kaiser and Bob (Laura) Kaiser, also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends and family may call Thursday from 4-8:00 PM at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3155 Orchard Park Road in Orchard Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at Sts. Peter and Paul Church at 12:00PM 66 E. Main St. Hamburg, NY. (please assemble at church). In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to FeedMore WNY, 100 James E. Casey Drive, Buffalo, NY 14206. Mike was a true family man and a kind, helpful and gentle soul to everyone he met. He was a devoted husband, father, brother and son. He loved being a Papa to his two granddaughters. He enjoyed fishing, as well as hunting with his father, brother and nephew. He loved to golf, especially at Concord Crest Golf Course. After retiring from his career as an attorney, he enjoyed his part-time work as a clerk at Buffalo Cigars, where he made many friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
