I worked with Naomi years ago - and her birthday is one day after mine which is why I will always remember it. She was so fun and knowledgeable, generous and caring. She is one I definitely missed when I left the OLV IH and was always a great listener. Fun memories - Naomi trying to quit drinking Pepsi, being told she looked like the head nun in Sister Act, her love of the Stardust song by Nat King Cole when we played the Sleepless in Seattle soundtrack, the antibiotic of the month and many others I am sure will be thought of in the next few weeks or so. Wishing the family and friends happy memories during this time of sadness.

To my “momma #2” from “daughter #4”. I can’t express in words how grateful I am that our paths crossed. You took great care of me after my mom passed away and treated me like one of your own daughters. From our happy hours in Florida to Sunday dinners at 751, we had so much fun together. Even when I arrived late to a Sunday dinner and you posted a sign, “Kitchen Closed!” and locked the door, I knew you loved me. (and I knew you’d let me in to savor one of your delicious meals) We shared so much laughter, dancing, singing Stardust and stories of success and heartache over the past 28 years. I am really going to miss that. We had FUN- especially when you visited Florida. I know you are out of pain now- and I hope you are enjoying a Happy Hour glass of Chardonnay with my momma, Helen. Till we meet again- “Cheers to the Ya Ya’s”
