Obituary of Michael Schuta

Passed away suddenly on January 28, 2024 in his paradise in Largo, FL. Son of the late Joe and Niece (Bouquard) Schuta Cherished husband and best friend of Theresa "Terri" (Drilling) Schuta. Loving father of Kathleen "Katie" (Jon) Whiteside and Michael Schuta. Extraordinarily proud grandfather of Joseph Michael and Willow Kay Whiteside. Like a father to Sara (Drilling) Hicks. Devoted brother of Joseph Jr. (late Sharon) (Sue McNamara) Schuta, Eugene (Mary) Schuta, Maryann Schuta and the late Ellen (late Tom) Feeney. Son in law of the late John and Catherine (Corica) Drilling. Brother-in-law of Francine (Mark) Arnst, Mary Drilling, Patricia (Kirk) Wolff and John Drilling. Beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. Also survived by cousins by the dozens and dear friends that are like family. Friends may call Friday from 2-8PM at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME INC. 3155 Orchard Park Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10:00AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help 115 O’Connell Ave Buffalo, NY. Please assemble at church. Mike was a retired Buffalo Police Officer and found his passion being on the staff at the South Park Golf Course.
