Obituary of Leonard Kusmierczyk

KUSMIERCZYK, Leonard, passed away on September 15, 2023, beloved and adored husband of the late Rosemary (Maturani) Kusmierczyk, devoted father Donna (Michael) Braunscheidel, Rosemarie Kusmierczyk and Lynn (Raymond) Pfeiffer, fun loving grandfather of Michael Braunscheidel, Matthew (Deanna) Braunscheidel, Mark (Anne) Braunscheidel and Marissa (John) Rimer, Joshua Pfeiffer, Joel (Brittany) Pfeiffer, Caitlin (Joe) Boccia, Jeremiah (Devin Gawera Fiance’) Pfeiffer, great grandfather of 13. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and was a Supervisor at the Ford Motor Company Stamping Plant in Hamburg for many years. Private services are being held at the request of the family. During his service in the U.S. Army being in active combat in Korea, he had achieved the rank of Sargent First Class upon discharge of which he was very proud. He was awarded the Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.
