DAVIES - John R.
of The Villages, Florida and Rushford, NY passed away September 10, 2023.
Devoted husband of 70 years to the Kathleen (nee Fuller) Davies, who
predeceased him March 25, 2023. Dear father Mary (Daniel) Biddlecom,
Ann and Thomas (Nancy) Davies. John was cherished by his grandchildren Brendan (Sarah) Biddlecom, Cara Biddlecom (Todd Pugatch), Andrew Davies, Justin Davies and Shayna (Michael) Dunne and great grandchidlren of Elijah, Andre and Theia Biddlecom, Lena and Alex Pugatch, Finnian and Tallulah Dunne. He was the son of late William and Alice Davies, predeceased by siblings Shirley (late Vernon) Stanton, William, Robert (Catherine), Carol (late Howard) Koepnick and Allene Blair. He is also survived by several nieces and
nephews. Family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from
3-8:00pm at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERALHOME, INC. 3155 Orchard
Park Road in Orchard Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated
at St. Patrick Church, 3 Merton Ave. in Belfast, NY on Thursday at 11:00am
(please assemble at church). John retired as Superintendent for National
Fuel after 45 years of service, and retired a Lt. Colonel in the New York
State National Guard after 28 years of service. In lieu of flowers donations may
be sent to St. Patrick’s Church in Belfast Restoration Fund. Online condolences at
