I don’t know what to say. Kenny and I were appointed to the Buffalo Police Department on the same day in 1981. We also attended Supervision School together in 1987. We both served in the military but in different branches and times. Our paths crossed at various times. Condolences and prayers to his family and friends. Ken was a righteous Dude. May he RIP.

Bienko Family I am so sorry for your loss and have my Deepest Sympathy.
I was Ken’s best friend for over 20 years. We met in the Military and became brothers in arms.
Ken was a fantastic person who touched many lives with his kindness, generosity, humor, and talent. He was always there for me, no matter what. He was the one who showed that there was life after divorce, supported me through hard times, and celebrated with me in good times. He was the one who made me laugh when I was sad, challenged me when I was complacent, and inspired me when I was lost.
I can’t believe he’s gone. He was taken away too soon. I’m heartbroken and devastated by his loss. I miss him so much. He was my best friend, my partner in crime, my soulmate.
But I’m also grateful for having him in my life. He taught me so much about friendship, loyalty, courage, and love. He left me with so many beautiful memories that I will cherish forever. He made me a better person by being his friend.
Ken, thank you for everything you did for me and everyone who knew you. You were a blessing and a gift to this world. You were a true friend who will never be forgotten. I love you, buddy.
Goodbye, Ken. Until we meet again."

To “The Kids,”
Love it or not, that is how Kenny lovingly referred to you guys. He loved his family and always spoke of you proudly.
Please accept our condolences on the loss of your Dad and fondly treasure those memories you have.
Professionally, I will remember Ken looking to get something done, to help someone out, and as a guy you were glad to have run into.
Rest in peace our friend,

Very sorry to hear. Tremendous police Ofcr. Great with people.
We used to link up at the Arena roller rink on Friday nights after work. Second front in 84. Million laughs. He had a natural smooth way of dealing with chaos.
