John was a fantastic teammate. John anchored our team. He was a gentle giant off the field but was a beast on it. I’m forever indebted to him for his sacrifices. Our team’s successes were tied to his development and growth. I am thankful that I got to know him and have these memories. He will be missed by his classmates and teammates.
