In these moments of great sorrow, we reflect on the life of a truly remarkable person. Uncle Mike was a kind and courageous man. He always exuded an optimism that was evident to everyone he met. His selfless and generous character was evident in his affection for his family. I remember as a youngster he and Uncle Leo would take me to Canisius College basketball games at the AUD. Those times are wonderful memories. I will forever hold him fondly in my thoughts and prayers.
